Mac Mini Late 2009 OS & Software Review Part 2
- 8 Comment
Just a review video of what others requested for me to record. I hope this is imformative. It’s just slight tad slower than my 15″ late 2009 2.66ghz MBP. I really like the mac mini. Stats show the mac mini has the most reliability with the least issues, probably because it doesn’t have a screen like the imac. Though the mac pro doesn’t have a built in screen, the mac mini is still more reliable than any other mac.

Geeze you seem to have a lot of issues there with having to force quit and waiting for ages for keynote to open. Seems too slow.

Final Cut Express will work with the Mac Mini in the video but some of the FxPlug Filters will not because of the integrated graphics processor. Also it will not be as snappy as lets say a MacBook Pro but it will work. If you do want to use FCE on a Mini you’ll want to get the 2.66Ghz with 4GB of RAM, it’ll make things smoother and a bit snappier. However, if you want Final Cut Pro… that’s another story
